The second group of trainees from the Ghana Air Force Special Task Unit successfully completed their demanding 6-week training program at the 69 Airborne Force facility in Tamale on September 22, 2023.
The intensive program encompassed physically challenging exercises, rigorous theoretical sessions, and practical drills, all designed to enhance the participants’ skills in various aspects of airborne operations.
From parachute jumps to tactical planning exercises, the trainees were thoroughly tested and pushed to excel in every facet of their training. The program culminated in a rigorous final exercise conducted at the old Airport facility in Tamale.
During the closing ceremony, Lt. Col. Louis Yaw Boakye, the Commanding Officer of the Airborne Force, praised the trainees for their unwavering dedication and encouraged them to continue pushing their limits to further enhance their capabilities.
As a symbol of their successful completion of the program, the trainees were presented with well-deserved certificates of achievement and customized T-shirts.
This training initiative holds significant importance, not only strengthening the capabilities of the Ghana Air Force but also contributing to the broader national security infrastructure.
