Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley is set to embark on a journey to London on Tuesday, May 7, before continuing to Ghana, where he will serve as the special guest of honour at the commemoration of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s 25th year of ascension to the Golden Stool and reign as the King of Asante. Accompanying him will be his wife, Sharon.
The visit to Ghana holds significance as it reciprocates the gesture made by the Asantehene and his delegation, who visited Trinidad and Tobago in 2023 to mark the country’s Emancipation Day celebrations.
